He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Charles and Pearl Davis Charles; and his brother Jerry Charles. He is survived by: his wife Connie Smith Charles; his sons, Timothy Charles of Swords Creek, VA and Cody Charles of Bristol, TN; and his sister Ida Wheeler (David) of Raven, VA. He is also survived by his loving family and friends.
