It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Haywood of Raven, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Haywood and Frances Asbury Haywood; his wife Pam Haywood; his siblings, Donnie Haywood, Charles Haywood and Deborah Sullivan; and his children, Roger Dale Haywood, Jr. and Leanna Johnson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ann Lester of Abingdon, VA and Brenda Taylor (Roger) of Richlands, VA; his stepson Brian Ickes; his close friends, Mark, Brenda Farmer and Sharon Baisden; his grandchildren, Savanna, Brandi, Derick and John; his stepgrandchildren, Drew, Eleanor and Sienna; and his siblings-in-law, Dianne Dyer Haywood and Tom Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
