She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Smith and Bendie Smith; and her siblings, Farley, Bob, Perry, Raymond, Crobbie, Wallace Smith, Thelma Smith, Juanita Smith, Jeanette Altizer, Fannie Ratliff (June), Ada Pinion, Ella Cornette and Lois Hoggert.
She is survived by: her husband Corbet Dennis Johnson, Sr. (Tash); her children, Vickie Dye, Richard Johnson (Linda), Corbet Dennis Johnson, Jr. (Jennifer) and Marlena VanDyke (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Joe Whitt, II, Brandon Whitt, Brianna Johnson, Kali Clark and Megan Johnson; her stepgrandson Jamie Sisk; and her siblings, Bonnie Proffitt, Mollie Williams (Babe) and Tom Smith (Cheryl). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren.
