She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Buff (Danny) and Cynthia Ward; her grandchildren, Niketta Ward, Jerilyn Ward, Melanie Ward Mullins, Arminda Brooks (Brian), Thomas Byrd (Melinda) and Samuel Byrd; her great grandchildren, Edith Ward, Aella Marie Owens, Dakota Byrd, Jasper Byrd and Joseph Byrd; and her brother Joe Simmons (Clara). She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and neighbors.
