He is survived by: his wife Barbara Varney; his sons, Ricky Varney (Pam), Tim Varney (Christie), Mark Varney and Wayne Alford (Diane); his grandchildren, Sadeana Hicks, Brandi Harris, Nina Gibson, Dustin Varney, Heather Hicks and Laken Riner; his siblings, Mary Jane Slone, Gail Breeding, June Williams, Jimmy Ray Varney, Junior Varney, Ivan Varney, Julius Varney and Bruce Varney; his daughter-in-law Michelle Bandy; and his brother-in-law Brian Mullins. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
