He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Arnard Foster, Sr. and Alma Ferguson Foster; his children, Benjamin C. Foster and Shelia Lynn Foster; and his brother Don Foster.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Griffith (Earl, Jr.) of Jewell Ridge, VA and Henry A. Foster, III of Raven, VA; his siblings, Ann Tester, Janice Reid, Nancy Robinson (Steve) and James B. Foster (Brenda); and his sister-in-law Glenna Foster. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
