He is survived by: his son Scotty Wampler (JoBeth) of Davenport; his brothers, John Wampler (Chandra) of Haysi and Mike Scott (Hazel) of Damascus; his grandchildren, Kathryn Wampler of Davenport and Joshua Wampler of Davenport; and his significant other Rosemary Harrison of Flowery Branch, GA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
