He is survived by: his children, Crystal Lynn Byrd, Edward McKinley Byrd, Jr. (Cassie) and Matthew Byrd (Kristian) of Raven, VA; his siblings, Lottie Moore, Shirley Dowdy, Diane Breedlove and Nathaniel Byrd; and his grandchildren, Kaiden Byrd, Brookelynn Byrd, Edward McKinley, Byrd, III, Autumn Skai Byrd and Destiny Hope Byrd.
