He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyce Hess Rose of Raven, VA; his children, Jennifer Hylton, Loretta Ray (Rufus), Tracey Tate (Leonard) of Doran, VA and Heath Rose (Tiffany) of Cliffield, VA; his grandchildren, Derek Ray (Kim), Brittany Ray, Eric Stiltner, Amanda Ball (Craig), Amber Griffey (Chad), Kayla Milhoan and Trista Altizer (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Adelyn Stiltner, Hadlee Ray, Kylee Stiltner, Madison Griffey, Zoey Griffey, Charleigh Ball, Anna-Lee Ball, Caleb Ball and Garrett Milhoan.
