He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Jake and Margaret Lowe Elswick; his sister Cheryl Noel; and his siblings-in-law, Herbie Noel, Jack Tuggle and Debbie Elswick.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Elswick; his children, Cody Ray Elswick (Kayla) and Amanda Chylette Elswick Hunsucker (Matt); his grandchildren, Taylin Elswick, Lana Elswick and Vada Hunsucker; his siblings, Betty Reedy (Kermit), Jean Tuggle, Alice Cordle (Ronnie), Kay Monk (Steve), Steve Elswick and Bobby Elswick (Alice); his parents-in-law, Denny and Janice Lawson; and his sisters-in-law, Jennifer Light (Adam) and Sharon Cook (Yancey).
