He is survived by: his brother Glenn Hess (Barbara); his nieces, Joan Blalock, Phyllis Blalock, Michelle Hess Parker and Glenda Hess Mullins; his great-niece Jessica Blalock; his nephews, Danny Blalock and Christopher Blalock; his great-nephew Kevin Mullins; and his brother-in-law Steve Dye.
