He was predeceased by: his father Claude Edward (Shorty); and his brothers, Ronnie Lester and Jerry Elswick. He is survived by: his mother Draxie Gaynell Coleman Lester of Raven, VA; his sons, Frank Lester (Barbara) of Raven, VA, Shane Johnson (Beverly) of Raven, VA and Bobby Lester, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Honaker, VA.; and his siblings, Edward "Shorty" Lester of Baltimore, MD, Rita Shelton of Raven, VA, Billy Lester of Raven, VA, Donnie Lester (Brenda) of Richlands, VA and Veronica Elswick of Raven, VA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
