He is survived by: his wife Elaine Propst; his children, Cynthia Propst (Steven Groves) of White Springs, FL, Julie Newman (Jesse) of Bealeton, VA, Melissa Johnson (Wallace) of Raven, VA and Daniel Propst (Stacia) of Pounding Mill, VA; his brothers, Ira Propst (Ruby) of Smith Creek, WV and Jim Propst (Ruth) of Hinton, VA; his grandchildren, Steven Johnson (Elizabeth), Austin Newman (Jenna), Meagan Yates and Tobie Propst; his great grandchildren, Tristan Johnson and Oliver Johnson; and his brother Garry Propst.
As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Commonwealth of Virginia Mandate, facial coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
