She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel G. Robinette and Alice Francis Stevens Robinette; her son Nathan Todd Shortt; and her brother Larry Robinette. She is survived by: her husband Steve Allen Shortt; her children, Tony Allen Shortt (Frances Kate) of Baptist Valley, VA and Miranda Ann Shortt (Eric Mitchell) of Doran, VA; her siblings, Phyllis Brewer (Alfred), Judy Faye Honaker, Rita Joyce Harmon (Bryan), Diane Price of Bristol, VA and David Wayne Robinette (Pam); and her grandchildren, Joey, Kaleigh and Everleigh.
