It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Hardy Baker (Rapidan, Virginia), born in Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Luther S. Hardy; her husband Lester Jones Baker; and her sisters, Hessie Osborne and Betty Barnette (Ernest). She is survived by: her parent Lana Lane Hardy; her sons, Wayne Baker (Peggy) of Orange and Randy Baker (Rebecca) of Leesburg; her grandchildren, Angela Baker (Timothy Cudd), Logan Baker, Collin Baker and Caitlyn Hyland (Tyler); and her great grandchild Lacie Cudd.
