He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bennett and Hazel Clatterbuck Bennett; and his siblings, William Bennett, Doug Bennett, Sr. and Thelma Corbin.
He is survived by: his wife Monique Bennett; his son Andrew Bennett (Dana); his stepson Max Moten; his grandchildren, Samantha Bennett, Miles Bennett, Mackenzie Moten, Kylie Moten and Addison Moten; and his sister Lorraine Joye (Al). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
