She was predeceased by: her son Cheyenne Hale (Lisa). She is survived by: her husband Paul Hale; her daughter Wendy Shifflett (Shannon); her grandchildren, Bri, Kenzi, Hylton, Naomi, Hayden, Kel, Julian, Lexi, Prezley and Kolt; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Blakely and Delilah; and her siblings, Doris, James, George, Debbie, Steve, Ricky and Chris. She is also survived by spouses, 11 nieces and nephews, and 22 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kathy's name to Belmont Baptist Church (Mineral, Virginia), St. Jude's Children's Hospital, MJH Cancer Center, or Wounded Warriors, continuing Kathy's legacy of helping those in need.
