He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Jones Walters; his husband Nelson; his significant other Angela Agee; his children, William Signal Gardner, Jr., Jessica Lynn Gardner and Chasity Agee; and his brothers, Bernie Gardner (Kathy) and Wendell Gardner (Teresa).
