She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Eugene Shover and Elizabeth Shover (Arehart); her stepsons, Coven Smith and Jason Smith; her siblings, Marvin T. Davis, James Russell Davis, Anna Marie Coiner (Shover) and Betty Daughtry (Davis); and her granddaughter Andrea Henson.
She is survived by: her spouse Coven A. Smith, Jr. of Raphine; her daughters, Rhonda A. McLaughlin of Mt. Crawford and Crystal D. Welcher of Verona; her siblings, Leonard Preston Shover of Staunton and Mary Ann Tankesley (Shover) of Staunton; her stepdaughter Cheri Hudson (Joe) of Indiana; and her granddaughters, Megan McLaughlin, Chelsea McLaughlin and Pamela Watson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Memory Gardens (1921 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
