With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosetta Martin Griffin of Randolph, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clem Martin and Louise Powell Martin; and her husband Willis Pete Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Clem Griffin (Janice) of Charlotte Courthouse, VA and Annis Louise Hunt (Oscar) of Huntersville, NC; her grandchildren, Robyn Hunt of Allen Hunt, J. W, Jason Griffin, Holly Griffin, Paul Griffin and Thirteen; her sisters, Geraldine Martin of Lynchburg, Janie Crow (Bobby) of Chase City and Host; her son Willis Eugene Griffin, Jr.; and her siblings, John Anderson Martin, Louis Henry, Mervin Martin, Raleigh Martin, Julian Martin, Lois Lane and Juanita Russell. She is also survived by Thirteen Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Grandchild.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Powell Funeral Home from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. For memorials, please consider a charity of your choice.
