As Evelyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Evelyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. S. Sandy and Carmen Hall Sandy; and her brother Garver Sandy (Wilma). She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Perdue (Julien); her grandchildren, Whitney Strahl and Mark Perdue; her nephew David Sandy (Francisca) of California; and her nieces, Alice Brewster (Tom) and Paula Louise Moses of Pennsylvania.
