She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lester Clark and Annie Ruth Lohr Clark; her former husband Luther Ashby Tanner, Jr.; her husband William Lindsey Austin; her son Charles E. Tanner (Chuck); and her siblings, Malvin Arista Clark, William Brian Clark, Joseph Paul Clark, Mary Arnita Brown and Lucille Jarrell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mildred Seale and Emily Fern Williams.
