He was predeceased by: his wife Velva Margaret Akers Long; his parents, Cooper K. Long and Nancy Ann Long; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Worrell. He is survived by: his daughter Donna; his son-in-law Mike Conklin; his grandchildren, Kimberly (Garry Wright) and Jason (Holly Worrell); his great grandchildren, Nathan Wright, Meriam and Jeffrey Worrell; his sister Roxie Dishon; his sister-in-law Reva Martin; and his nephew Carl Akers. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
