He was predeceased by: his parents, James Trail and Jeannie Trail; and his siblings, James, Jr., Dan Trail, Eleanor Myers, Nancy Viers, Isabel Simpkins, Jeanette Dickerson, Frances Harris and Judy Sarver.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Trail; his son Thomas Jr.; his daughter-in-law Amy Trail; his daughter Melissa Naff; his grandchildren, Jordan and Madison; his brother Bob; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Trail and Hattie Ethel Altizer Trail; and his close friends, Kathy and Lauren Young. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
