She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curtis Brooks, Sr. and Ellen Louise Jackson Brooks; and her son Brian Redd. She is survived by: her siblings, Ralph Brooks (Debra) of New River, Gladys Jackson of Roanoke, Margaret Hairston of Radford, William Brooks (Tina) of Kingsport, Tenn, Larry Brooks of Roanoke and Carl Brooks of Chatham; her sisters-in-law, Madelene Howard of Princeton, W. Va, Edith Boysaw (Anthony) of Pulaski, Charlotte Montgomery (Jerry) of Pembroke, Brenda Redd of Pulaski and Kathy Williams of Pembroke; her uncles, Walter Brooks (Pauline) of Pulaski and Douglas Brooks (Pam) of Pearisburg; her aunt Betty Woodward of Dayton, Ohio; her cousin Arthur Jackson; and her close friends, Barbara Latten and Corelise Sherman. She is also survived by other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mullins Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Brooks Cemetery.
