It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Burke of Radford, Virginia, born in Jenkins, Kentucky, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leffey Burke and Flora Burke (Mullins); and his siblings, Arville Burke (Barbara Powers), Wanda Glisson, LaVon Conley (Granville Burke) and Christine Akers.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Burke (Bolling); his children, Michael Burke (Christina) of Gastonia and Rhonda Linville (Lee) of Whitmore Lake, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Sarah Girard, Alex Linville, Brandon Linville and Josh Burke; his brother Kenneth Burke (Lois); his brother-in-law JC Akers; his close friend Peggy Phillips; his nephew Wayne; and his niece Tanya Akers. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
