With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Keith Phillips of Radford, Virginia, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Phillips and Margaret "Peg" Phillips; his sisters, Susie Harrod and Anne "Pooh" Spear; and his brother-in-law Ron.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Carter (John) of Christiansburg and Alex Phillips (Jessica) of Santa Barbara, Calif.; his grandchildren, Maxton "Max" Carter and Lou Phillips; his brothers, Chris Phillips (Sharon) of Williamsburg and Jim Phillips (Connie) of Ocala, Fla.; his brother-in-law Byron Harrod of Williamsburg; and his caregiver Cynthia Black. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
