He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Compton; his stepfather Ralph Compton; his father Harold Preston; and his brother Aaron. He is survived by: his wife Mary F. Heldreth; his sons, Ricky (Kellie Heldreth), Todd (Amber Heldreth), S. C. and Tony Lee Patterson of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Caleb, Jake Heldreth and Morgan Hamilton; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn and Danny Martin. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Dublin UM Church.
