He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Bain and Mary Bain; his wife Peggy Simmons Bain; and his siblings, Ronald Bain and Glenna Linkous.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa (Gregory Osborne), Tammy (Dean Duncan), Rhonda (Todd Saunders), Dawn Hollins and Jennifer Bain (Lynn Harrell); his sister Linda Graves; and his close friend Donna Carden. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
