She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Orville Bolt and Mertie Elizabeth Nester; and her siblings, Norman, Dorothy Bolt, Lovelyn Carmichael, Fay Wilkerson and Hazel Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband James Phillip Payne, Sr.; her children, Joe Harris, Randy Harris (Yvonne), Veronica Harris, Kay Wyatt (Russ) and Raven Garner (Chris); her grandchildren, Joe Harris and Ja'Micia Garner; and her sister Helen Talbot. She is also survived by 5 stepchildren; and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
