With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Wayne Nester of Radford, Virginia, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Nester and Elda Nester; his wife Donna Nester; his brother Vander; his sister-in-law Velma Nester of Christiansburg; and his niece Tracy D'Souza of Roanoke.
He is survived by: his son Paul; his daughter-in-law Amy Nester; his grandson Jack of Salem; his daughter Lesley; his son-in-law Andy Morgan; his grandchildren, Andrew, Elijah and Olivia of Bridgeport; his siblings, Allen (Jill Nester), Tim (Joyce Nester) and Sonja; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis D'Souza of Roanoke, Judy, Buddy Linkous of Roanoke, Karen, David West of Altavista, Mary Ruth and Parks Schaefer of New Bern, NC.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Nester requested that contributions be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Mission Fund, 624 Sixth Street, Radford, VA 24141.
