He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian C., Sr. and Evelyn Overholt; his sister Joyce Sink; and his former wives, Donnis Overholt Honeywell and Carol Overholt.
He is survived by: his son Clay; his daughter-in-law Sonja Overholt of Lynchburg; his wife Gloria Overholt of Radford; his stepchildren, Dwayne Harris of Radford, Jamie Hay of Radford, Christie Hay of Giles County and Annamarie Lee Bresson of Georgetown; his granddaughters, Jessica Overholt Phelps (Chase) and Kristina Skye Overholt; his stepgranddaughter Dara Holmes; and his close friend Dan Murdock. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
