He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Fleenor Smart; and his parents, Joseph Henry and Ethel Mae Smart. He is survived by: his children, Jay Smart, Vicki (Danny King) and Anita (Dale Quesenberry). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchild; 2 sisters; and many other family members and special friends.
