With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Randolph Nicely Sr. in Radford, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Thomas and Florence McNabb Nicely; his son Jerry Randolph Nicely, Jr.; his brother Richard W. Nicely; his granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Nicely; and his nephew Ricky Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Simpson Nicely of Draper; his son Troy Nicely (Stephanie) of Draper; his grandchildren, Alexa Nicely and Trey Nicely; his stepgrandchildren, Madison Tolley and Stephen Craft; and his pet Maggie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the South Covington U.M.C. Food Pantry, 1911 S. Kadel Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
