With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Lynn Burris of Radford, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Burris and Will "Wingo" Burris; and his pet Chase. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Burris; his children, Kevin Burris (Jonathan Burris) and Dr. Kathleen Burris-Fowlkes (Jason Fowlkes); his grandchildren, Sydney Smith (Lane), Spencer, Frazier, Luke, Gabriel Burris, Ellie, Jacob, Adam and Abigail Fowlkes; and his friends, Nichole Leeson and Hailey Dalton. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church (6900 Pulaski Ave, Fairlawn, VA 24141).
