With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Whitt Cook of Radford, Virginia, who passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Whitt and Effie Josephine Whitt; her husband Frederick Andrew Cook, Jr.; her brother Bill Whitt; her brother-in-law Bill Cook; her nephews, Jim Cook and David Cook; and her great grandchild Selah Veta Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Brooks (Jerry), Pat Edwards, Pam Semones, Andy Cook (Karen) and Diana Osborne (Johnny); her sister-in-law Millie Whitt; and her nephews, Lynn Cook (Margo) and Tom Cook (Cindy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
