He is survived by: his children, David, Jr. (Melissa Owens), Brian (Courtney Owens) and Robin Hopkins; his grandchildren, Allison, Annalee, Andrew, Maggie, Kashton, Tayten, Hunter and Bailee; his brother Freddie; his sister-in-law Diana Owens; his sister Shirley; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Weaver and Margaret "Peggy" Owens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
