He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Akers; his stepdaughters, Regina Altizer (MaryAnn Moschetti) and Johanna Kirsop; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Bentley (Morgan), Amanda Buckner (Tim) and Kaehla Kirsop; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ella Bentley, Jonathan Jr. Bentley and Owen Buckner; and his sister Margaret Lawrence (Neil). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
