She was predeceased by: her husband Ira "Sonny" Hoover; her brother Thomas Wilson; and her parents, Arlie Wilson and Lillian Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Charles (Debra Hoover), Penn, William (Julie Hoover), Jennifer (Robert Tarr) and Suzanne Turpin of South Riding; her sister Betsy Albert of Radford; and her sister-in-law Betty Jean Wilson of Blacksburg. She is also survived by 8 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter.
