She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Lee Rector; her parents, William Mastin and Laura Carner Paisley; and her daughter Thelma Jean Halsey. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Shelton (Ken), Linda Hypes, Hilda Farmer (John), Wanda Thomas and Jerry Rector; her grandchildren, Trina Burton, Cindy Newby (Ken), Nita Criner (Russ), Brian Shelton, Keith Roberts (Amy), Lisa Marshall (Keith) and Lori Duncan; and her brother Larry Paisley (Louise). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 14 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
