She was predeceased by: her husband Earnest William King; and her daughter Betty Gay Smith. She is survived by: her children, Luann Jose Roane, Lyndia Rose King and James "Jim" King; and her siblings, Willie J. Spence, Jr. and Barbara G. McElroy. She is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, twenty-one great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
