Though Gerald Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Taft and Esther Fredrickson Taft; and his son Gerald A. Taft Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Merryfield Taft; his daughter April Taft Burke (Dale) of Wisconsin; his siblings, Helen Hamilton, Margie Hoff, Allen Taft (Nancy) and Steve Taft; and his grandson Derek Ruther. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church (2631 Pocahontas Trail, Quinton, VA 23141). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
