It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Lee Ballard of Quinton, Virginia, born in Covington, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Lee; his wife Cassie Yvonne Ballard; and his siblings, Mary Catherine Lively and Oscar Leroy Ballard. He is survived by: his sons, Noah (Tina Ballard), Jeff (Teressa Ballard), Bruce Ballard of Wayside, WV and Mathew Ballard of Richmond, VA; and his sister Betty Ballard Comer of Lindside, WV. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving friends.
The family suggests memorial donations in memory of Eugene be made to the Mt. Alexander Church.
