He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Elbert Benfield; his grandmother Dinah Benfield; his aunt Wendy Benfield; and his uncle Joel Benfield. He is survived by: his parents, David Benfield, Sr. and Megan Cash; his sister Madison Benfield; his grandparents, Melvin Cash, Jr. (Diane) and Lynne Lamm; his uncle Jeremy Benfield; his aunt Heather Shears; and his cousins, Ryan Cash, Rebecca Benfield, Kameryn Shears, Brandon Benfield, Jack Shears and Hannah Benfield.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
