She is survived by: her children, Pamela Stroop (Archie), Luke A. Custer Jr. (Esther), Wayne Custer (Marie), Ricky Allen Custer (Donna), Patty Lynn Custer (Bucky), Kim May (Howard) and Jeff Dale Custer (Malinda); her grandchildren, Cody Wilson, Brandi Wilson, Andrew Combs, Eric Pool, Joey Custer, Trapper Custer, Dale Custer, Amanda Funkhouser, Kelly Britton, Wesley May, Jennifer Whetzel, Derrick Wilkins and Brixton Custer; her great grandchildren, Lylah Wilson, Logan Wilson, Tori Sears, Grace Combs, Allie Pool, Taylor Pool, Haley Custer, Teagan Custer, Talysa Embrey, Taeya Embrey, Lynden Jenkins, Faith Tucker, Jonathan Funkhouser, Mason Sager, Aleah Paniagua, Matthew Britton and Nora Whetzel; her great great grandchild Barrett Funkhouser; her stepchildren, Chris Green, Sheila Higdon (Dan) and Donna Harris; her stepgrandchildren, Joshua Green, Shiloh Green Soto, Michelle Higdon Tucker, Jonathan Higon, Logan Harris and Jacob Harris; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Emily Higdon, Korinne Tucker and Clemento Soto; and her pet Hooch.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Service (14116 S Middle Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery (18425 Runions Creek Rd, Broadway, VA 22815).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Solomons Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
