He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Frost of Tomsbrook and William Shenk of Quicksburg; his stepson Joshua Schmidt of Mt. Jackson; and his siblings, Joy Shenk, Mary Jane Shenk, Cathy Shenk, Richard Shenk and Robert Shenk. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
