It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Stroop of Quicksburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward and Jeanette Elizabeth Garber Stroop, Sr.; and his siblings, Clarence Stroop, Jr., Carl Stroop, Stanley Stroop, Roger Dale Stroop and Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Custer; his children, Amy Stalbird (Randy) of Timberville, Tonya Hamrick of Woodstock, Anthony Hamrick of Woodstock, Crystal Stroop of Harrisonburg, Brandon Stroop (Tiffany) of Woodstock, Brandi Wilson (Amanda Mason) of Mt. Jackson and Cody Wilson (Michelle Lutz) of Mt. Jackson; his grandchildren, Megan Stalbird of Timberville, Lindsey, Levi Hamrick of Woodstock, Lacey, Ayden, Saryna Stroop of New Market, Lyla and Logan Wilson of Mt. Jackson; and his sisters, Virginia Spitzer of Grottoes and Peggy Lam of Penn Laird.
