He was predeceased by: his father Ferdinand Thomisser; and his wife Mary Rose Dykes Thomisser. He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Elizabeth Bundy Thomisser) and Cara Thomisser; his grandchildren, Abigail of Charlotte, Quillen Thomisser of Charlotte, William of Charlotte and Henry Jordak of Charlotte; his brother Fred Thomisser of Whitehouse Station; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Archie Dykes (Nancy Dykes) of Leewood, Kansas and Linda Dykes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
