She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Fitzhugh Dye and Sadie Maitland Timmons Dye; her husband William Patton; and her siblings, Bill, Jesse Dye, Olive Berry, Lois Montieth and Rachel Dye.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Patton, Cynthia Patton Gentry (Karl), Kevin Patton (Cindy) and Grant Patton; her grandchildren, Chris Gentry (Michelle), Reggie Gentry (Joanna), Rachel Gentry, Lukas Patton (Fallon) and Lauren Patton O'Meara (Joseph); and her great grandchildren, Carter, Kathryn, James, Grayson Gentry, Laila Rae Weaver, Naomi, Emmy Patton, Isla, Lili Pennington, Robert and Nolan O'Meara.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fredericksburg Baptist Church or to the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
