He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lindley Haskett and Barbara Ruth Gelzleichter; his brothers, Dennis Haskett and Daniel Haskett; his stepsisters, Linda Penney, Judy Bartley and Carla Messimore; and his pets, Mikki and Yuki.
He is survived by: his wife Lida Stout Haskett; his children, Dennis Savonarola, Jr., James Haskett (Fernanda Esparza) and Barbara Haskett (Alex Metzger); his pet Turbo; his sisters, Kathie Tilton (John David), Chris Lampert (Bud) and Tina Reick (Otto); his sisters-in-law, Krista Haskett and Laura Stout; his nieces and nephews, Christa, Joshua, Ben, Tracy, Eric, Otto, Emily, Liza and Sara; and his godchildren, Jeremy, Adele, Elena and Katee.
He also began running in charity 5K races with the Bishop's Events organization, many of the runs involving helping veterans and animal rescue groups.
